Chapter 1

Violet's Point Of View

I stood in front of the office, hearing Kyan's heavy, lustful breathing from inside the room.

I knew that my alpha husband had been cheated on me. His mistress was now busy servicing him, and he was about to come.

It hurt.

The bond deep within my soul was being torn apart, making it hard for me to breathe.

I bit my lip hard, trying to stop myself from losing control.

My wolf, Sky, howled inside me, nearly breaking free to tear them apart!

I restrained Sky,because the end was near.Once I tricked Kyan into signing this document,I would be free.

I took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

"Come in."

After a pause, I pushed the door open, and a strong scent of lust hit me, making me sick.

Kyan, the esteemed Alpha of the Black Mesa pack, sat in his office chair like a symbol of power. His expensive black shirt was unbuttoned at the collar, revealing a sweaty neck and a flushed chest.

His usually handsome face was now tinted with desire. His brows were furrowed, and his arrogant eyes glowed deep crimson.

One hand rested tightly on the desk’s edge, knuckles white, while the other was hidden under the large desk.

Kyan tried to steady his breathing and slowly withdrew his hidden hand, using it to fix his rumpled shirt.

"What is it?" he asked, his voice low, trying to maintain seriousness but unable to hide the guilt in his tone.

I walked in without expression, my eyes scanning the messy desk.

"A few urgent documents that need your signature."

I placed the documents in front of him, my voice calm and steady, as if I hadn't noticed anything.

When I handed him the pen, it slipped from his grasp and rolled to the edge of the thick carpet.

Bending down to pick it up, I caught a glimpse of a delicate lace hem under the desk from the corner of my eye.

And then came the sweet scent of another woman.

All reason was immediately lost to intense anger.

I reached out, grabbing the lace hem under the desk with all my strength and yanked it out.

"Ah!"

A scream echoed through the room.

I pulled a disheveled Clarissa out from under the desk between Kyan's legs, and she collapsed onto the carpet in a mess.

It was her.

Clarissa, the daughter of the Alpha of the Moonlit Wolf Pack, has a powerful family background.

Her golden curls were in disarray, her lace nightgown torn open, revealing a large area of snow-white skin covered in glaring love bites. A suspicious shine still lingered at the corner of her mouth.

But what drew my attention even more was the necklace on her neck, passed down through countless generations of the Hearst family, symbolizing status and absolute loyalty.

Kyan's pupils contracted as he abruptly stood up from his chair.

"Violet! You..."

I looked at the bulge in his pants, a cold smile forming on my lips.

Kyan's face turned pale. A hint of embarrassment crossed his expression before it shifted into anger.

He quickly adjusted his pants, helped Clarissa to her feet, and grabbed his suit jacket to cover her.

When Clarissa looked at me, there was no longer panic on her face, only undisguised malice and provocation.

She even flicked her fingers, lifting the necklace on her chest to show it off, giving me a sickly sweet smile filled with triumph.

"Violet, sorry. Kyan and I…you don't mind, right?"

Kyan just stood there, holding her, silently confirming everything.

I swallowed the bitterness in my chest. Kyan had betrayed me.

I couldn't hold it in anymore.

Still trying to maintain some dignity, I calmly said to Kyan, "Sign."

I handed him the documents. He signed them quickly without reading, placing his name at the bottom of each page.

As he signed the last document, my heart raced, my palms slightly damp.

But Kyan did not hesitate. He finished signing and said coldly, "You can go now."

I took the documents, forcing a self-mocking smile.

Would he have signed so easily if he knew it was a publicly released agreement announcing the break of our bound?

I quickly tucked the documents away.

After leaving the office, I pulled out my phone, took a photo of the signed agreement, and sent it to the mother-in-law who had always treated me like a disgrace, constantly pressuring me to step aside.

[As you wish. Kyan and I have ended our relationship.]

I took a deep breath, a sense of almost exhausted powerlessness washing over me.

Finally, it was all over.

Three years ago, the crushing debt nearly destroyed our pack, forcing me to marry into the wealthy Black Mesa just to buy time.

Fortunately, I had fallen in love with Kyan. He respected me as Luna, and for a while, we were truly happy.

Unfortunately, that love didn’t last.

Now, with the four Alpha candidates of the Wolf Clan about to compete in the upcoming election, Kyan's scandal risked ruining everything.

I had no choice but to endure, waiting for the end of the four Alpha elections in a month. After that, I would finally be free.

That evening, Beta Miles placed a black velvet box on my desk.

"Luna, Alpha asks you to wear this necklace to the tribal dance tomorrow night."

Wasn’t it meant for Clarissa?

I opened the box, and the necklace inside gave off a cheap metallic smell.

A crude imitation.

"What about Kyan?"

"Alpha has an important meeting tomorrow night and can't accompany you."

A hint of guilt flashed in Miles' eyes.

A wave of humiliated anger surged through me, burning away my last trace of reason.

I grabbed the fake necklace and smashed it on the ground with all my strength.

The necklace shattered, fragments scattering across the floor.

Miles gasped, his face turning pale.

"What are you doing? The Moonlight Necklace is a symbol of the family's strength and power. Alpha will know..."

"Then go tell Kyan that his family's legacy, when it comes to me, ends here!"

I stared at the cheap crystal shards on the floor, a sense of revenge rushing over me.

A fake marriage, a humiliating title, useless connections

Miles looked at me in shock, as if I had lost my mind, then quickly backed out.

In the bathroom, warm water flowed over my body, but images of Kyan and Clarissa together played in my mind, causing me a splitting headache.

Our relationship had become a sick joke. Part of me was still unable to let go, but my heart could no longer accept such betrayal.

"Violet, what should we do?" my wolf Sky whimpered, sounding more helpless than ever.

I comforted her softly. "I don't know, Sky. But I haven't forgotten what my mother told me: never be afraid to start over. Maybe, now is the time."

I stepped out, wrapped in a towel, when suddenly a pair of large hands reached out and pinned me against the wall.

A powerful, suffocating aura filled my nostrils as Kyan pressed me against the cold wall. His breath was heavy, his pupils red, exuding an intense heat.

"Baby, still mad at me?"

Chapter 2

Chapter 2

Violet's Point Of View

Kyan's scorching body pressed against mine, carrying the sweet scent of another she-wolf.

The edge of the towel slipped, revealing a stretch of skin along my shoulders and neck.

He buried his face in my shoulder, planting fiery kisses while gently pushing the towel to fondle my breasts.

The mark on my neck tingled with his Alpha's scent, stirring a deep heat in my soul, aching for closeness.

But the image of him crawling out of bed with another woman turned my stomach.

The sting in my heart mixed with the numbness in my body, betraying my body's response as I subconsciously leaned in.

Yet in the mirror in front of me, I saw it. Kyan kissing me, and flashes of him sneaking around with Clarissa in the office filled my mind.

Suddenly, I felt nauseous.

"Get off me!"

I closed my eyes, trying to stop my body from trembling, and shoved him away with all my strength.

Kyan froze, lifting his head. A mix of confusion and displeasure was on his face.

I forced myself to meet his gaze, my nails digging into my palms.

Kyan's pupils narrowed slightly, then he slipped back into his usual demeanor, his fangs dangerously grazing my skin.

"Violet, do you think Clarissa's family would help me claim the Four Alphas' throne if she weren’t involved? Your pack cannot give me any support.”

He leaned in closer, his hot breath brushing my ear.

"Have you forgotten your pack’s debt?”

Kyan's tone remained arrogant.

I felt my breath hitch in my throat.

Three years ago, that high and mighty Alpha had lifted me from obscurity to stand beside him.

"Violet, marry me and become the most prestigious Luna of Black Mesa."

Back then, I had been lost in his domineering gaze, foolishly believing his love for me was real.

Now, those sweet promises had turned into poisoned arrows, stabbing straight through me.

"Kyan, I don't want a cheap fake necklace. And I don’t want the empty title of Luna. Find another Luna who can help you rise to the top."

For a moment, Kyan looked stunned, then his eyes erupted with towering rage.

"End the relationship? Don't even think about it!"

A sharp pain shot through my jaw as he grabbed me hard, nearly crushing the bone.

"Violet, don't make stupid moves. Clarissa won't threaten your position. Don't forget what you owe, unless you want your pack to vanish!”

Debts again. That was all Kyan ever used against me.

But I had already made up my mind. What could he do now?

A sense of revenge flashed in my heart; not only did I smash the fake necklace, but I’d also tricked him into signing the relationship termination agreement.

Kyan narrowed his eyes, clearly suspicious. "What have you done, Violet?"

Just then, the phone rang loudly.

Kyan stiffened, immediately letting go of me and walking to the corner to answer the phone, his voice soft in a way I had never heard before.

"What's wrong? Don't cry, I'll be there soon."

He turned back, grabbed his coat, and spoke coldly to me.

"There's an urgent matter in the pack. I need to go handle it.”

He was lying. I had heard the woman’s whiny voice on the phone.

"Don't act like a child. Make sure to attend the banquet and don’t embarrass me.”

Without another glance, Kyan walked out.

As the door closed, I completely lost my strength. I slid to the floor, tears streaming down my cheeks.

I had had enough.

After spending the night calming myself, I began packing the next morning. I took photos, gathered the expensive clothes, the anniversary gifts, including the wedding ring on my finger. I planned to sell everything.

Suddenly, a wine-red sexy backless dress in the corner of the closet caught my attention.

As Luna, I still had to attend tonight’s ball. I couldn’t let Kyan humiliate me.

I slipped into the dress and stood before the mirror.

The woman in the mirror had a cold gaze, a seductive allure, full of aggression, completely different from the gentle Luna she had been before.

She was perfect, except for the glaring hickeys on her neck.

I grabbed a black scarf and wrapped it around my neck, hiding the marks of shame.

When I appeared, the lively atmosphere paused for a brief moment.

"Oh my god, it's Violet! Why is she dressed like that? She looks so beautiful!"

"Being beautiful is useless. She still can’t compare to Clarissa. Kyan is about to abandon her!"

Ignoring those amazed or gossiping stares, I walked slowly into the banquet hall.

"Violet!"

My only friend rushed toward me.

"Why would Kyan allow you to dress like this? Where is he?"

Suddenly, her eyes widened as she looked me over, scanning my dress and scarf. Worry filled her expression.

"Is it because of those rumors? Don't worry, it must be nonsense! Kyan won't betray you!"

"Shh." I interrupted her, my gaze sweeping over Devon, who was not far away, chatting and laughing.

"Come on, place your bets! Let's bet on when Kyan will abandon Violet. She's not qualified to be the pack's Luna."

I heard his words clearly, and my face flushed with anger.

"Damn, Devon, I'll have my wolf tear his mouth apart! What does it matter where you come from? You’ve done so much for the pack. Why does he look down on you?!"

She rolled up her sleeves, ready to charge at him, but I quickly pulled her back.

"Enough. I’ve heard the same thing for so many years. Since you've started a bet, you bet for me. Let's say I’ll leave in a month. If I win, we split the money."

She gasped. "Are you going to break up with Kyan? Are you crazy!"

"I'm not losing anything. I've spent the wildest and most passionate years with Kyan. Clarissa’s just picking up what I’ve already used."

I grabbed a glass of strong liquor and downed it in one go, the burning sensation in my throat dulling the ache in my chest.

"I trained Kyan's bedroom skills. If he can move on, why can't I?"

Suddenly, a soft laugh sounded near my ear.

"Interesting speech."

I turned and saw a handsome man leaning against the bar. His wine-red shirt was slightly unbuttoned, revealing a glimpse of a muscular chest. His eyes were half-closed, a smile playing on his lips, exuding a lazy sexiness that was captivating.

He swirled the glass in his hand, his gaze fixed on me with interest.

"Too bad, when you just lied, the scent of sadness gave you away."

My disguise was torn apart. My heart sank, but I tilted my chin defiantly to meet his gaze.

"Isn't a widowed woman more attractive?"

He was taken aback, then covered his eyes and chuckled.

Setting down his glass, he walked toward me and extended his hand, his eyes dangerous.

"So, enchanting widow, may I have the honor to dance for you?"

The moment caught me off guard, and I stood frozen.

"What are you doing?"

A familiar and cold voice pierced my ears, and I instinctively looked up.

Not far away, Kyan was staring at me, his eyes filled with possessiveness and anger.

Without hesitation, I smiled, raised my hand, and placed it firmly in the hand of the stranger.

"My pleasure."

Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Violet's Point Of View

As soon as my hand touched the palm of that unfamiliar werewolf, a subtle warmth flowed in.

"I like him!" Sky joyfully murmured at me.

But the warm feeling did not last long, quickly replaced by Kyan's cold presence.

Kyan walked over and grabbed my wrist, causing me to gasp in pain.

"Kyan, let go!"

I endured the pain, trying to stay composed.

"Violet, how dare you dance with other werewolves!"

Kyan's eyes were filled with anger.

I had only agreed to dance, and he was already jealous?

How ridiculous.

"Kyan, where are your manners? With the Alpha elections coming up, do you want others to see the Alpha of Black Mesa pack lose control at a public dance, acting like an angry fool in front of everyone?"

As the words fell, Kyan's Adam's apple rolled, and the grip on my hand loosened. But his tone became cold and threatening.

"Violet, don't challenge my limits."

"Limits?"

Bitterness rose in my heart as I leaned in close to Kyan's cheek and whispered.

"Kyan, you were the one who cheated with Clarissa. You let her wear the real necklace and gave me a fake. You’re the one who pushed the limits."

"You!"

The anger in Kyan's eyes almost burst out, a violent pressure pouring towards me, causing the lower-ranked wolves around us to step back instinctively.

I gritted my teeth, almost unable to bear it, when the unfamiliar werewolf suddenly stepped forward and grabbed Kyan's arm.

"Alpha Kyan," the man said calmly, "intimidating your Luna in public might damage your reputation, don't you think?"

He stood casually, completely unafraid of the powerful Alpha before him.

Kyan's face darkened, and the three of us stood in a tense atmosphere.

"Kyan, what's going on?"

Just then, Clarissa walked over.

She wore a sky-blue gown and a polite smile on her face, walking straight to Kyan.

Without hesitation, she reached out and gently linked arms with him.

"Violet, sorry for the delay. Kyan was late because he was dealing with some trouble on my behalf. I hope you don't mind."

Clarissa looked at me like she had just noticed me, her eyes revealing a hint of undisguised satisfaction.

I smiled and continued to play the role of a gracious Luna.

"Of course not. Miss Clarissa is a distinguished guest of the pack."

"Kyan, since Violet doesn't mind, will you dance with me for the first dance?"

Clarissa held Kyan's arm, acting cute with innocent and expectant eyes.

Kyan's body tensed visibly, looking at Clarissa, then at me, with a complicated expression.

I instinctively looked at Kyan. If he let go of me today and chose Clarissa, it would be like publicly acknowledging every rumor and crushing my dignity as Luna.

"Kyan, my father’s been wanting to speak with you. I’ll arrange a meeting after the ball."

As the words landed, Kyan let go of my hand completely.

It felt like something had been ripped out of my chest, leaving a void instantly.

Kyan had still chosen Clarissa.

Deep down, my pitiful hope was completely shattered.

"Well, I won't disturb you guys then," I said, my voice dry.

Kyan's Adam's apple moved. His eyes stopped on my face, but he said nothing. He held Clarissa's hand in public and turned, sliding into the center of the dance floor.

As Clarissa turned around, I saw the provocative look in her eyes.

"Violet, don't be sad!" Sky whispered, trying to comfort me.

But I let go of the strength I had been holding to. Everything suddenly went black, and I stumbled backward.

A warm and strong hand steadied my waist. It was that strange werewolf.

"Finally quiet," he said casually, then offered his hand again. "May I have the honor of a dance?"

"You’re not afraid of offending Kyan, now that you know who I am?" I asked, surprised.

"Of course I am. But the widow's charm is too strong. Besides, you don't want to lose, do you?"

The man's tone was serious, and since he wasn't afraid, I had no reason to hesitate.

He led me to the other side of the dance floor, his hand resting lightly on my lower back. Through the thin burgundy silk, the warmth of his palm wasn’t hot, but strangely, it helped ease the cold, dull ache in my chest.

I tried to follow his steps as we spun, but my eyes kept drifting toward the center of the dance floor.

Kyan was dancing with Clarissa, a perfect match. That sight stung my eyes.

I quickly looked away, a tightness squeezing my chest.

"You call yourself a widow, yet you still care about a dead man, a traitor." His voice carried a barely perceptible hint of inquiry; he focused on me as if observing something interesting.

I tugged at the corner of my mouth but remained silent.

His hand on my lower back tightened slightly, pulling me a bit closer with a gentle force, "Don't be foolish. You deserve better."

"Like who?" I let out a bitter chuckle. "Who would accept a marked she-wolf?"

A faint smile seemed to appear at the corner of the man's lips.

Just then, his fingertips accidentally brushed against a small patch of exposed skin on my lower back, sending a tingling sensation like feathers gently tickling me. I shivered slightly as a warm rush surged up from my lower abdomen.

I felt myself become wet.

The sudden and unfamiliar reaction left me stunned. I had to be losing my mind.

Even Kyan had never made me feel this way. The lack of sexual intimacy had me experiencing such a strong sensation for a man who had been around for less than ten minutes.

At that moment, the music stopped, and the lights in the banquet hall went out with a click, plunging the surroundings into darkness.

I stood frozen in place. Then, in the next second, a warm hand suddenly gripped the back of my neck.

"You're wrong," he whispered in my ear. "Accepting you means getting the most beautiful she-wolf."

Before I could react, a cool, refreshing kiss landed heavily on my lips.

Chapter 4

Chapter 4

Violet's Point Of View

In the darkness, my senses heightened, and the sudden touch on my lips left me stunned.

This stranger kissed me!

Instinctively, I struggled, trying to pull away.

But the large hand on the back of my neck held me firmly in place with undeniable strength.

His other arm wrapped tightly around my waist, pulling me closer to his body. My struggles were useless.

The gentle kiss deepened, no longer hesitant but blatantly possessive.

His lips and tongue forcefully parted my teeth, invading my mouth and savoring my tongue.

A strange, powerful, and cool sensation overwhelmed my senses, carrying a wild and primal allure.

"Ugh!"

All my protests were silenced, turning into a muffled whimper.

The deep-rooted pain of betrayal faded for a moment, drowned by this possessive kiss.

A shameful and shivering sensation surged through my body, the mark on my neck burning beneath the scarf.

Why was this happening?

Reason screamed danger, but my body betrayed me, responding uncontrollably to his kiss. The strange feeling of surrender filled me with fear and shame.

Just as I was on the brink of being completely consumed by this unfamiliar tide of emotions, a blinding light exploded above us, illuminating the entire dance floor as bright as day.

At that instant, the man released me.

I pushed him away as if burned, staggering back, my heart pounding wildly in my chest, the tingling sensation of his intense kiss still tingling on my lips.

The stranger werewolf stood calmly before me, his dark eyes unreadable, a playful smile on his lips as if he were enjoying my distress.

He raised his hand and lightly brushed his damp lips, now stained with my saliva.

My face flushed with heat.

How dare he tease me like this!

He leaned in slightly, tucking a loose strand of hair behind my ear, speaking in a voice only we could hear.

"I'm Xaden. Remember that name."

"Outrageous!"

I angrily pushed his hand away.

He simply smirked, a lazy and meaningful smile, then turned and disappeared into the noisy crowd.

"Xaden..."

I stood there, repeating the name quietly.

I knew the names of every Alpha in the powerful packs, and his name wasn’t on the list.

I already had someone. And this werewolf wasn't the powerful alpha. So why was I drawn to him?

The lingering heat on my lips made it hard to breathe. I needed air.

I pushed through the crowd as if escaping, opening the glass door to the terrace.

The cold night wind rushed over me, easing the heat in my chest. I leaned on the railing and took a deep breath.

Suddenly, the glass door slammed open behind me, and a fierce and furious pressure swept over me.

Kyan.

He stormed toward me, his eyes red, fangs bared, his hands almost transforming into claws.

A sign of his extreme anger.

He grabbed my arm, his grip almost crushing my bones.

"Violet!" he yelled, voice full of rage. "How dare you let that lowly, random wolf touch you! And you dare respond to him! Don't even try to lie. I can feel it all!"

Of course. The bond. Kyan must have felt the pain when I kissed Xaden, just like the pain I used to feel.

And it felt good.

The satisfaction of revenge made me laugh out loud.

"Kyan, so now you know what pain feels like? When you betrayed me and slept with Clarissa in the office, did you think of me then?"

I pulled my arm free, stepped back, and stared straight at him.

"Every time you touched her, I only felt more pain than you. And now, I’m simply giving that pain back to you."

My outburst left Kyan speechless, a rare sight.

"It's over, Kyan," I said coldly, my voice was cold and resolute. "Let's spare each other. The link will only bring us pain. Let's end it!"

"You dare!"

Kyan growled low, eyes filled with crazed desperation.

He suddenly grabbed my shoulder and yanked me close, his hot breath on my face. His words chilled me to the bone.

"Violet, you say I betrayed you, but today you betrayed me too. You’re hurt, I’m hurt. Now we’re even. Let’s make up."

Chapter 5

Chapter 5

Violet's Point Of View

Even Steven?

He had the nerve to brush off betrayal with a casual "even steven," trying to erase everything as if it were nothing.

I stared at Kyan in disbelief, a huge sense of absurdity crashing over me. I looked at the man I had once loved deeply and felt nothing but overwhelming disappointment.

"No way!" I gritted my teeth and shoved him away.

This time, I would not compromise. I didn’t want this rotten, unfaithful love anymore.

"Violet, I know you're jealous, but look at yourself right now, like a hysterical shrew! I don't have the time or energy to deal with your petty emotions. I need Clarissa’s support."

Kyan stepped forward, a shadow falling over him once again, his tone leaving no room for doubt.

"The pack's debt is something I can settle with a word. Behave and act like a proper Luna. Otherwise, I won’t hesitate to let your father and your people face bankruptcy."

Shameless.

Blood rushed to my head, my fingertips trembling with rage.

"Kyan, you make me sick!"

I hissed the words, wishing I could rip the mask off his face.

Kyan chuckled, completely unaffected by my fury.

"I'm just stating facts, Violet. Stop being dramatic."

His words shattered any remaining illusion I had.

To him, I was still the one he could easily manipulate with debt, occasionally threw tantrums, and waited for his comfort like a decorative accessory.

"Come back with me."

Kyan grabbed my wrist without hesitation, his grip too strong to break free from.

In the face of absolute power and authority, all resistance was useless.

He shoved me into the car like a rag doll, and I stayed silent the whole time.

Back home, I lay on the bed without a word, refusing any communication with Kyan. The air was so heavy it felt suffocating.

Kyan snapped, "Violet, do you know how annoying you look right now?"

"End our relationship. Accept my rejection, and you won’t be annoyed anymore." I smiled as I spoke.

That smile seemed to sting him.

I could feel his irritation. He pulled me into his arms by force. My body remained stiff, enduring the night in silence.

After what happened the day before, I was filled with anger that needed to be released.

I went to the pack's training ground, and as soon as I stepped in, Sky smelled a familiar, unpleasant scent.

"It's Clarissa! That damn bitch!" she growled.

Clarissa stood in the center, surrounded by young werewolves.

She was dressed in an expensive and exquisite training suit, and a few simple combat moves brought exaggerated compliments.

"Miss Clarissa is indeed a noble lady, even her fighting is elegant!"

"Yeah, so much better than some people."

"Shh! Be quiet, she’s still technically the Luna."

A mocking voice followed. It was Gamma Devon.

He had never liked me and never respected me as Luna.

Now, with Clarissa eyeing my position, he had become even bolder. He crossed his arms, looked at me disdainfully, and raised his voice so others could hear.

"She can't lead the pack anywhere. She’s already lost the Alpha’s favor. The title of Luna should belong to a more worthy she-wolf."

Clarissa enjoyed the praise of the crowd, a triumphant gleam in her eyes, but a polite smile on her face.

"Violet, you're here to train, too? What a coincidence."

She walked over gracefully.

"I heard you're skilled. Want to spar? Let everyone see the strength of the Black Mesa Luna."

Such a weak provocation.

Clarissa's eyes were full of arrogance.

The training ground fell silent. Everyone’s eyes were on me. Even without the Mind-link, I could tell that the wolves of the Black Mesa pack were looking forward to this show.

But I also felt a stronger gaze.

Kyan appeared at the edge of the training ground, watching us with a blank expression.

He seemed certain that I would be embarrassed, would back down, or even ask him for help.

He was waiting for me to bow my head, as I had done countless times before.

A flame of defiance burned in my heart, meeting Clarissa's challenging gaze, and a cold smile played on my lips.

"Alright. How do you want to compete?"

I let my gaze sweep across Kyan, mocking him without hiding it.

Kyan's face darkened instantly, a hint of rebellious anger flashing in his eyes.

"Clarissa, Violet is too weak. Expecting her to fight like a warrior is too much."

He stepped beside Clarissa, pretending to defend me while crushing my dignity.

"Kyan, I am still the Luna of the pack. Letting others question my abilities is a disgrace to your leadership." I reminded him calmly.

Clarissa dropped her act and sneered. "Let's see how long you can hide behind the title of Luna. Kyan, it's time for your wolf to see how unfit Violet is to be your Luna."

Kyan opened his mouth to speak, but I cut him off.

I said two words, "Bring it."

The crowd dispersed, and Clarissa took her stance first.

I moved my feet and stepped into the training ground. As I passed by Kyan, he grabbed me.

"Don’t try to be tough. You’ll only embarrass the pack."

I clenched my lips and pulled his hand off me.

"You should be worried about your little lover."

Kyan gave a cold chuckle. "Since you enjoy making trouble for yourself, go ahead and deal with it yourself."

I said nothing more and stepped forward without fear, stepping onto the training ground fearlessly.
