CHAPTER ONE
The Beginning

"Rose, wake up. It's your university time." I heard mom shout from downstairs. I opened my eyes and checked my phone. "Uppss I'm late again," I said and started to hurry. I went to the bathroom and did my morning routine. I dressed up with a simple black hoodie and blue jeans. I went downstairs and heard, " Honey, come and have your breakfast." Mom said.
"No mom, I'm already late. I can't miss any classes, you know." I replied while hugging her and went outside when I saw that my best friend Alice was waiting for me in her car.
"Come on, let's go, we don't have time for greetings." She said when I got in the car.
I laughed and relaxed, slowly closing my eyes and taking a rest in my seat.
This was my life. My mom and my best friend were the only families I had. My dad passed away during the war of werewolves. He was a gamma, a fighter wolf. But here I was, an omega. I knew I was not so strong but I could protect myself from danger and that was enough for me.
"We are here," Alice said. I opened my eyes and got out of the car. Alice parked her car and we went for our first lecture.
Crismon high was a very famous university in our pack. Actually, our pack was very big. More than a thousand families lived here. Like other packs, we don't need to live together in one house called a pack house. We lived in our houses but when something was urgent, our family's heads went to the main pack house for official meetings. After my father's death, nobody from my family went to the meetings nor could we meet the head alpha.
"Ms. Lee and Ms. Park, you are both late again! If you come late one more day, I will cut your marks. Remember this." Mrs. Stefen snarled.
"Sorry, miss, we won't be late again," Alice said, and we headed to our seats.
When we sat in our seats, I heard some whispering, "Don't you know? Alpha Arvan is back to Crismon high."
Another girl said, "Where did he go?"
"I heard he was injured in the war last year. So he had to drop out. But he has recovered now. Imagine watching him daily, just like a dream. He is so handsome."
"Not only handsome but also dangerous. He is the head alpha, you fool." Alice replied to that girl loudly. Everyone heard her and then turned their attention back to the class.
"Alpha Arvan? You know him?" I asked Alice.
"Of course, Rossy. Everyone knows him even out of all packs everybody knows him. I saw him one time when I went to the pack house with my dad." Alice replied.
"Oh. I never met the head alpha. I saw his father when my dad was alive." Suddenly, I was feeling sad thinking about my dad.
"It's ok Rossy. Uncle is always with us in our hearts." She said and patted my back. I nodded and watched the board where Mrs. Stefen was writing something.
After the class, Alice and I went to the cafe to have our lunch when the girls were screaming and the boys were looking scared to death.
Then I saw a group of handsome boys passing by and didn't pay attention to the screaming girls.
A boy with black hair, a tattooed hand, and one eyebrow piercing got my attention. The danger was screaming from him. He was very handsome but with a devilish aura.
How could a girl scream upon seeing him when he looked so dangerous?
The group of boys was about to go to their table when that boy stopped. He was frowning and searching for something with his eyes. He looked around for some time.
Then he turned his head and looked at me and narrowed his eyes. I gasped. I was so shocked when he suddenly looked into my eyes. It looked like he could see my soul. He looked very angry. Then he turned around and went to the table with his friends.
Everyone was looking at me. Some girls were giving me disgusting looks. I was confused.
"Do you know him?" Alice asked.
"No, who is he?" I asked confusingly.
"He is the head alpha we talked about in the class, Rossy. Our head alpha." She said while ordering sandwiches for us.
"But he is too young to be a head alpha. I mean maybe he is our senior. But head alpha?? Isn't it too early for him? How old is he?" I asked while looking at him. He was talking with his friends.
"He is 24 years old. He is young but he is a Trueblood. His energy and power are much more than any other head alpha of other packs. So that's why his father decided to give him his responsibility early." Alice explained.
"Oh, a Trueblood? Very powerful then." I told her.
"Yeah, but we don't have any Luna yet."
"He didn't find his mate?" I was shocked because he was much older to find his mate.
"I know you were not here for 5 years. Rossy, you came back last year when you heard about uncle. But you know that our pack was not the same as before. We don't have our Luna yet. Yes, Alpha Arvan is powerful, but he also needs his mate to strengthen his power more." Alice said.
Alice was right. I went overseas five years ago. I planned to live there but I never thought that my dad would leave us so soon. So I came back for my mother. This one year was very hard for us. I always stayed with my mother and nothing got my attention.
But suddenly this alpha got my attention. I didn't know why.
Whatever, I should not think much about anyone. I had nothing to do with anything.
But One thing I couldn't understand, why did he look at me like that?

CHAPTER TWO
He Is Dangerous
After all the classes were over,
Alice said, "Let's go, I'll drop you at home."
"Thank you so much, Alice," I thanked her. When she went to the parking area, I stood at the entrance area.
That's when I saw the boy, Our Alpha Arvan. I was watching him carefully. He was a very handsome boy. I couldn't believe after so many tattoos and an eyebrow piercing, how could a boy look that much good-looking. Suddenly, he narrowed his eyes as if he could feel me watching him.
I felt one thing strange. That was his scent. He smelled like rain and dark chocolate. It was a very strong scent. It was kinda attractive.
'How can anyone endure his strong scent? Maybe he is the head alpha that's why.' I was thinking.
I heard car horns. "Come on honey, where are you looking? Falling for an alpha?" Alice winked and asked.
I got in the car and said, " Oh please, you know I'm an omega not a beta like you. Even if I fall for any, they won't like me" I said while looking at Alpha Arvan from the car mirror.
"Ha ha ha, nice joke," Alice replied and started the car.
Alice dropped me at home. "Mom, I'm back," I shouted. My mom came out from the kitchen and looked at me, "Eat something, I need to get ready." She said while weeping her hands.
"Wait, where are you going?" I asked.
"I got a call a few minutes ago, Our head alpha wants me to go to the pack house. He wants to talk about something important. So I need to go there." She notified me.
"Our Head Alpha? You mean Alpha Arvan?" I was surprised and asked her.
"Yes. Do you know him, Rose?" She asked.
"Yes, mom. He studies at our University. He is very senior though. I know him " I said confidently.
"No, you are not, Rose. Please stay away from him. He is a true blood alpha, he is not only head alpha for the name but also he is very powerful. More powerful than his dad, alpha Michael." She said with a low voice.
"But mom he won't harm any of us, he is our Alpha. What is there to worry about?" I asked.
"Rose, he doesn't like omegas. I mean he protects all of us, but he is not too friendly with omegas. Even his beta's mate is an alpha female. You know what I'm trying to say, right? We can't offend him at any cost." She said while caressing my hair.
"Yes mom, I understand," I replied sadly.
I felt bad and didn't know why. It was heartbreaking to hear that you were a weak creature.
My mom came from her room, kissed my head, and said, " I'm leaving, okay? Don't go anywhere alone. I'll be back soon." Then she left.

I went to the pack house. When everyone greeted me, I smiled and greeted them back. Everyone knew me here. I was their gamma's mate. My husband died in the war and they felt sorry for me but proud of my husband that he saved our former head alpha's life.
"Mrs. Lee, nice to meet you again. Come with me. Alpha Arvan is waiting for you." Liam, Alpha's beta said.
I went with him to the office of Alpha Arvan. Here he was, the dominating Alpha we had ever seen. He was only 24, but his aura was dangerous. The way he killed hundreds of rogue wolves alone in the war, was unbelievable.
"Hello Alpha. It's an honor that you asked for my visit. How can I help you?" I asked him.
"Mrs. Lee. It's been a long time, how are your days going?" He said while looking at me.
"Yeah, everything is going well." I replied politely.
"I want to know about your daughter." He said as he rested his back against his chair.
"What about her, Alpha?" I was shocked.
"What's her name?" He asked.
"Ross." I replied.
"Where has she been in the last four years? I didn't see her at my crown ceremony, not even on my birthdays." He narrowed his eyes and asked.
"She was out of the country. She wasn't living in any pack, she was living with humans. She came back after her father's death." I answered truthfully.
"Like I thought weak and vulnerable." He murmured.
"Pardon?" I was startled.
"Nothing. I just needed her information because I needed to know every member of my pack. I can't just let any outsider live in my pack." He said.
"She is not an outsider, Alpha." I retorted back.
"Yeah, I just confirmed it. Thank you for your cooperation, Mrs. Lee. It's late. You can go back to your home." He said.
"Thank you, Alpha. If you need me again, you can call me. I'm leaving." I smiled and bowed to him. He nodded his head.
When I was living, I noticed him, he looked like he was in deep thought. Then I left the pack house.

Mom came back at night. The main pack house was far from our home, so maybe she was late for that.
"Mom, why are you so late? Why did Alpha want you to go there?" I asked her curiously.
My mom sat on the couch and said,
"Do you two know each other? I mean why did he ask for all of your information?" She looked at me suspiciously.
I was so shocked. 'Did he ask about me???' I thought.
I controlled my excitement and said, " I only saw him today, mom. I don't know why he asked about me."
"Ok dear, but stay away from him, he is not like other alphas. I'm warning you." Mom warned me.
"Ok ok, my lovely mother. I understand. Now let's go to have dinner. I've already cooked noodles for us." I told her.
We had our dinner. I wished my mom good night and went to my room and leid
down on my bed.
"I like how he smells." Suddenly I heard my wolf. My wolf, Rosalie was very sensitive but very beautiful. Pure white fur and a pair of blue ocean eyes. That's how she looked. She started to talk with me through our mind link.
"Who?" I asked.
"Alpha Arvan of course." She said.
I rolled my eyes and said, " Didn't you hear what mom said? He is too dangerous to talk about."
"But you always think about him. I think I also like him. I want to meet his wolf, who will protect me from all the danger." She said.
"Dream on. It's just one day and you fall for him?" I laughed.
"It is called love at first sight. Don't make a joke of my feelings." She growled.
"Okay, Rosalie, don't get mad." I chuckled.
I couldn't sleep that night. I was thinking the whole night, "Why did he ask mom about me? Why did he even look at me that way?"
Then I decided,
"I WILL ASK YOU TOMORROW, AND YOU HAVE TO ANSWER ME, ARVAN BLACK."
